On two and three, you can't even tell where the engine is.... looks the same coming or going.... I like your crossing signals.....
And you were right about the length of your trains... I don't think our guys would even bother pulling out of the yard without at least 50 cars.... And the Duke was beautiful. My Grandmother and I rode the Daylight Special back from on of the worlds fairs they had over in New Orleans way back when. It was a steam engine train that just ran in the daylight, hence the name. Stopped every night and the people would stay in hotels along the way. I think it ran from either California or farther north, Oregon maybe to the fair and back... they had a lot of day riders that would just ride from one stop to the next and the train also did some of the drive by's for pictures like the Duke did....It was quite an experience.
