Subject: LOL....on the commuter trains....
....there is a compact diesel engine at each end of the train...and a driver's cab at each end...at the line terminus the driver climbs out of his cab, walks the length of the train, climbs into the cab that end and sets off in t'other direction...same system they use on the subway trains in the London Underground.
...it saves all that wasted time shunting trucks down sidings to get the traction unit on the front end of the carriages.
