First i wanted to make a suggestion.....your name you chose "dumb buggar"......dont pick something so degrading next time, nobody is "dumb" just not properly informed. For future referrence, dont post thinking your question would be considered "silly".... It wont be. The only question that is "silly or dumb" would be the one not asked. So please if you or anybody for that matter has a question, just ask.

Your Issue: This error is most commonly found with internet explorer but also comes up with other programs. It is not solely an XP problem, it also happens on Vista and other OS's.
The most common fix for this is to get or upgrade your internet explorer which is available free on the microsoft site. What you can do for trouble shooting is try another brouser such as firefox and see if you have the same issue with that program.
For better assistance on this issue, please post program you are having the issue with, what you are trying to do when it happens. Also post system info requested at the top of the main page.
