Two things i just wanted to mention for any type of scanning program

Get the latest updates or definitions daily if possible, or as frequently as you can.
Definetly get the definitions before you do a full system scan.
Always do a full system scan but have it set to search everything on your pc including zip/rar files, this will find alot more. Have the program automatically delete whatever it finds, do not quarintine but try to fix is ok. The reason being is that if its infected...what can you do with it?

nooneinparticular ... I have those same type files, try keeping those on a thumb drive or on a drive or in a folder other then on or in C:
You should have settings to avoid or skip a drive, folder, file(s) check for that. Thumb drive works best for access or ISO is way better.
