I am now at the problem I have been looking at! You are most correct in reading the a fore mentioned problem! It appears he did some navigating prior to downloading a new AV! It is simple to remove with the proper tools! Almost done!

The fact remains, he will not take advice about his machine! This will be the last time I intervene! It appears he is too willing to answer emails or click the offending sites! He has been informed in the past and from this point forward, I can't help him! He has been informed!

Sorry for the bother to you tech folks, but was looking for an easy fix! Something I could show him! I have purchased and installed a brand new Norton's! I know this is a systems hog, but giving the circumstances, I had no other choice!

While we are speaking, the problem was resolved with "Reg seeker:! Even Norton's could NOT fully eradicate! Had to do a manual search and find in the registry to hopefully catch everything! A reboot and run is in order! I'll get back to you with the results!

I'll try to copy and paste the results the best I can and with the time I am allotted! What pisses me off is, why does the average user have to deal with this at all? A person buys a PC and is immediately subjected to a world of harassment! Thanks to Uncle Bill and his information gathering programs, more folks are subject to this same infringement than you would think!

Personally, I am sick of it! I'd like nothing better than to explore the internet without all this bull-crap, but it appears that is NOT possible!

Reboot is clean as of this transaction! Let's see what happens in the next few days! Thanks to everyone for their input! It helps knowing stuff you may have forgotten!
