left click personalise. there are options to change your pic or stretch it or tile it or centre it. if none of those suit, save your pic, then magnify/zoom it (depending on what pic viewer you use) till it is the size you want, save it as name of your choice, then place that magnified pic on your desktop background. one of the right click options should be to "set as desktop background"!
