Talking bout stereotypes. Because of the TV shows in the US, I get stereotyped all the time. I was going to DC with my wife, we had stopped at a rest stop and a youngster noticed my license plate was from Louisiana. His first question was: "You from Louisiana?" I was outta 'here's my sign' jokes, (Jeff Foxworthy is gonna kick my ass), so I said yes. His next question was more intriguing. "You live in a swamp?" I actually live in one of the largest swamps here so my answer was a yes. That led to: "Do you kill alligators?" Yes I said. The youngster went on thinking he had a real swamper that hunts alligators. His next question; "How many did you kill this year?" My reply was; "One." "One, you must be the worse hunter in the swamp." My reply,"I wasn't in the swamp. I was driving down Interstate 10 and the bastid ran out on the road." I never told him, but he won my 'Here's Your Sign' award. Foxworthy give me a break! He was a kid.
