Hey , Christie, since I 've got you, Chook, and Dalek, three of the best techs around here all in one thread and I'm a relative newbie to a lot of stuff( my advice and answers are simple - the forest is easily seen, because I don't recognize the trees), could someone tell me why you would want to bother partitioning a drive? I've seen it mentioned a lot, but never really thought about it much and I recognize that for you guys this is undoubtedly an obvious answer. What I usually concentrate on is stuff that helps me accomplish something I want to do on my machines - wireless home networking, video and image software, more stealthy surfing and downloading, eg. Maybe it would just be cool to try drive partitioning, I don't know.
Thnx
