I am having major problems with my computer. This is the first time in 5 days I’ve been operating for more than a few minutes.

One of the world’s premier geeks is going to be back in the country in a couple weeks and he said he’d stop by on his way back to California. In the meantime he calls when he can and says do this or that and that’s why I’m at least limping along now.

I just what to reassure my old friends that If I disappear it is only MF’ing computer problems. Daisy and are healthy… if not happy.

Maybe the spirits of Quantum Physics are trying to tell me it’s time to upgrade to a new machine. If my geek suggests junking this one I’d love to hear from you all. What brands, models, processors, displays, and operating system are you running? Could you tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly? What are it’s quirks? Thanks.

I hate the thought of that. I have so much stuff in this one that moving it all, re-installing and getting all the data exported and imported without losing important stuff will probably be on the same scale as moving the Empire State building across the country without cracking any glass.

Sigh… I’m getting a migraine just thinking about it.
