Name: Ugh!
Subject: Re: Preaching to the choir..

Oh, thank gawd you cleared up that JC connection for me, I'd have *never* gotten that one! But it's an admirably cool, obscure reference alright. :-)

Did you get the "Sonny Bono wig" thing? That was one of Chop Top's lines in TCM 2 -- which, btw, is another flick I instantly fell for. Then, towards the end, Dennis Hopper finally going full tilt nuts, waving that big chainsaw around and yelling, "I'm a-comin' for ya, boys!" That movie is chock full hilarity.

I've been bugging clerks for Exte: for a couple weeks now. Originally, it was supposed to be available July 28. Then it was pushed back to last Tuesday. But I still can't find it around here. I'm hoping it finally shows up at my local Best Buy tomorrow. I've been digging the trailer for that one for some time now.

And speaking of cool Asian cinema: Edward Lee just wrote a really cool article about a new flick entitled Girls Rebel Force of Competitive Swimmers which he calls, "A high school full of hot chicks, in very tight swimsuits, being besieged by the living dead."

Consider me there already!

Oh, the toothpaste: got it. Which, really, is the only thing that saved my ass.

And that "shoe leverage" deal: it works, I know this to be true. As a matter of fact, if I'm feeling persecuted for my nerdy purchases, usually all I have to do is poke around in the trunk till I find some item of clothing stashed away somewhere. Works everytime. LOL

Oh, did you ever see Meatball Machine?

I got a big kick out of that one. Definitely worth a watch.

Well, back to the real world.

Oh, yea. I'm heading out to catch Hell Ride tonight. Looks like a good time, I'll let you know tomorrow.

Take care, pal, and have fun cradling those vintage Star Wars *action figures*. "There's a world of difference, you know. A world of difference." Hee, hee. :-)
