I would be a bit more worried about following a corporate controlled country into any war. The Taliban, supported by the US when Russia invaded, now said to be the enemy of the US. Its a bunch of bullshit. The Bush guys made their dough in Iraq, hence why we are starting to leave. Now the Obama guys will make their money.

I always feel sad for the citizens that die because of our greed.
