I have a friend who owns a cattle ranch in Gleason, AZ. His southern fence line, 3 strands of barbed wire to keep the cattle from wandering off, is the international border. It is so dangerous that he and his wife cannot tend the cattle without a pistol on their hip and either a rifle or shotgun on their shoulder.

His ranch house looks like a miniature prison. There are steel bars on both doors and all the windows.

A very sad state of affairs.
