Boston is a great town. My younger son lived there for 5 years. He could have gotten you complimentary tickets to all the fun clubs and interesting restaurants. Unfortunately, he moved to Boulder, Colorado a few months ago.
All work and no play is not good for a woman. I offer you my favorite ice cream treat. Herrell’s Ice Cream Shoppes. The Chocolate Malt Ice Cream is to die for, although anything will make you have an orgasm. Unfortunately, they closed their 2 Boston locations. But you could get out of the city on a sunny day and drive through the Berkshire Mountains to their flagship store in Northampton. The fresh air and sunshine would be good for you. You might even bump into fellow Oddite Itza Secret.
Also, the Langham Hotel has an all-you-can-eat chocolate dessert bar on Saturdays from September-June. Enough choices to fill your lifetime sin list.

And I loved taking a ride on the Duck Boat Tour. It is a combination land/sea vehicle from WWII. The guide drives around downtown Boston giving a tour and lying about everything. Very funny. Then he drives into the Charles River. After he gets out in the middle, he lets a few people drive the contraption (beware, it over-steers big-time).
If you want to have a good old fashioned fist fight, just tell someone (anyone) you are from New York.
