I agree and might add that not only gay men are successful in the fashion and cosmetic industries, but some women have a real feel for what is and isn't sexy and beautiful. I think it's about having the ability to be objective and eliminate any issues of personal likes,dislikes, and the chemistry of attraction. I don't think there is a guy out there who hasn't found some female extremely attractive( ie, boner inducing;)) who may come across as plain and ordinary to others.
Sometimes this can result in a long term affair or even marriage, but is not the kind of judgement that will play well over the long run in the fashon, hairstyling, or cosmetic world.
