I started using orbit downloader, which I hadn't fully utilized til you mentioned using a dl manager.r. It's free and can leech streams and even some cam shows, like cam4. Never used it as a dl manager before, but it works great. Doubled my overall RS dl speed to 1.6 MBS.
Downloaded an almost 800mb video with 8 parts in about 20 min. Only thing is you have watch the install not to leave boxes checked to allow tool bars,etc. sneak by, though you can uninstall them if they do.
It's simple to use - I just didn't know it's full potential as a dl manager,which is my mistake
It also doesn't work well with FireFox apparently according to CNET. I haven't tried it on my other paid hosts though.
Rapid share gets enough of my money already - they should provide a free dl manager. Depositfiles has one, but I can't see that it helps that much. Filefactory pulled their" turbo" because it flat didn't work, but I love their traffic share feature which allows users to dl your posted files at premium speed up to a 100Gb limit/day - and if their special is still on it's only $39 us for a year.
Glad to hear btw that your health is hanging in there, I was recommended for a heart procedure
but as you may know am somewhat occupied with my elderly parents health and well being. Probably head back home( their home) next eweek, but enjoying a short breather in MY little apt. Stress causes me more problem healthwise than anything, something my mom doesn't quite get - told her she has outlived my good health. I'm tied down here as a residence for several reasons, but at least have a good car for the 330 mi. round trip up.
