There are likely a dozen Trump lies that have serious consequences (he has lied about sexually assaulting women, about the viability of American democracy, and of course the many that target his personal opponents), two bother me more than most.
The Bowling Green Massacre - an attempt by the Trump administration to demonize a vulnerable minority group as dangerously violent, all so Trump can score some political points.
And the claim that American muslims cheered 911 as Trump watched on tv. An established lie that again demonizes a vulnerable minority group so Trump can make some political gains amongst the worst sort of people - the ignorant and hateful.
"I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering" as the World Trade Center collapsed.

Some people blame the media for not predicting a Trump win - because in a time when the President lies for his gain at the expense of the American people they feel it's right to attack the press, of all things.
