The House voted today to remove rules which prohibited ISPs from tracking and selling your personal browsing history without your explicit permission. This follows a similar resolution passing the Senate last week. You can expect that Trump will sign this into law within days.
This is so grim and frustrating that I don't even have the words to express myself. It opens the door to every aspect of a person's online activity
being tracked, monitored, logged and sold. There is no way to maintain privacy under these conditions; everything we do, think, say, feel or watch is available to whomever is willing to pay.
If you know anyone who voted for Trump, you can thank them for this wonderful gift, too, along with all of the others.
