Very interesting response. I balk at nothing you say. I think that the overall power plan in the US (where we have very similar issues) should be established by the government, rather than private contractors, but I'm looking at is logically and rationally rather than politically. We've swung so far to the right down here, that I expect discussions soon on privatizing the air so that the wealthy can make a profit selling it to the poor -- in a free market environment, of course .
I hope you realize my title was tongue in cheek. It's what they used to say about nuclear power, but nuclear power never lived up to expectations. Solar power, however, could exceed expectations, although as you point out, there are bugs that need to be worked out of the system first.
