With increasing age comes mental and physical deterioration, which vary widely in their impact from person to person.
Personally, I don't think that anyone should be an election candidate once they have reached their country's retirement age.
This would mean that Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Jeremy Corbyn and probably many more, would not be eligible to stand for elected office, but if ordinary individuals are compelled to retire, surely politicians should be governed by the same rule?
