Well, puck, I've found a series of catwalk videos from various shows on this page on youtube http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=cheapfashion
that are very obviously compiled from a very male perspective. They are basically consisting of little mishaps that are either wanted or unwanted by the designer, when a dress or piece of clothing lets go certain body parts, which it supposedly is supposed to cover, if you get the drift.
By the way, I was very happy to find some videos of presentations of Thierry Mugler's collections from the mid-90s. He's made popular quite a lot of artistic shapes and cut techniques back then, just like Gaultier and McQueen. Unfortunately, he doesn't do a women's collection anymore, and the latter of the two seemingly have gotten somewhat tamer. For this kind of artistry, I tend to look now to Portugal for the shows of Fatima Lopes (sometimes wrongly written Lopez, like at firstview.com) Unfortunately, Porto fashion week isn't as well-documented on the web as the 4 big fashion weeks.
Lucie, I've kind of accustomed to you always picking the MOTUTPs that you like, so I wouldn't know who to suggest at the moment. Anyhow, Querelle Jansen would have been nice to see on the cover - or the almost animal- and gas-named Inguna Butane.
But who would you have wanted for the cover instead of Kate at the time? I mean we can always bump Kate ... ;-)
Let's hope for a return of beautiful Tiiu on next season's catwalks!
Bye
