Yeah, working can suck and looking for work that is likely going to suck is even more sucky. I lucked out a bit in that when my last job faded I was able to find a better one. Well, it doesn't pay more but I like it better. So if I can do it then I'm sure an attractive (let us not pretend good looks don't help) and recently educated woman can manage even better.
Too bad about Kels not being contactable. Such is life I suppose.
The american election, I do follow it out of some painful sense of responsibility. It's so ugly and inane, especially with all that money being thrown around and lives being lost. What a downer.
Having said that, I voted about twenty minutes ago. Our election wasn't nearly as flashy or expensive and maybe not much will change, but I do feel that we function in a closer association with reality than our southern friends - more about policy issues and less about a narrative perhaps is on way to express it.
Damn, now I really want some cake.
