I am new here - and came to ask advice. After a few years of inactivity, my life has taken a change of direction and I can now have a dog again. At this point, I'm not getting any younger and my back can't support a large, heavy boy (I'm used to German Shepherds, Boxers and that sized dogs)
I have a chance to get an adult Basset Hound. A friend of mine is looking for a good home where her boy will be loved.
I have heard that Bassets are great for missionary - and that they have a huge cock and knot - but not the huge dog body.
I've been around them and understand their personality, temperament and needs .. but never thought about this part. <grin>
