on Adam's part. The notion of outing someone, bringing lawyers in, using the new copyright laws to support his version of porn, or ours too for that matter. He's not in a very good situation to threaten anyone with the new laws going into effect in Britain or with the new copyright laws. The laws could easily and quickly be re-written to exclude porn from any kind of protection and this might happen if the authors knew it was being used to protect porn producers.
The paysites depend upon the forums for publicity, they would never have come into existence without the forums there to spread the word. And the forums have always depended on a certain amount of sharing, so most of the paysites have been pretty low key about that.
You may well have shared excessively, not uploading too much stuff from just one site is a good idea if you want to share. But a polite letter asking you not to do so much would have been in order first, IMO.
